Thought for the day.....

At what point does something become an addiction?

We can be addicted to sex, drugs, porn (or so I've heard) and just about anything else that brings us any amount of joy. At what point does something you get a kick out of become an addiction. Also, is there a limit to what one can become addicted to? For instance, is a shower massager addictive? Are old re-runs of The Smurfs and Fraggle Rock addictive?

There's no real point to this post. I just wanted to see what everyone else thought.

Another question- what are the limitations of a first date?

I'm pretty sure shower massagers could be considered addictive.

As far as "limitations" I'm not sure what you mean. I think we all have to take it on an individual basis. I try to base it on what I know about them, how long I've known them and what I know about their past relationships. Those things say a lot and are usually a pretty good litmus test.

You have to go by instinct too, but sometimes that instinct can be misleading.

There are people who won't kiss on a first date and others who have gotten married after a first date. I don't really think there is a standard. It's something you have to decide for yourself.
Awww! Baby Drew! *smile*

I don't know about getting married after a first date. True, it goes on a case-by-case basis and what works with one, doesn't necessarily work with another.

Shower massagers are addictive! Why hasn't anyone put a Surgeon General warning on them yet?
